ORT JUMP year 12 work placement programme

A bespoke 5-day work experience programme for Year 12 students, specifically tailored for them to gain real experience in the workplace. Students will be carefully appointed placements specific to their areas of interest and career aspirations. Employers are provided with a guided and industry specific itinerary, ensuring each day provides value for the employer and the student.

ORT JUMP year 10 employability skills challenge

During our 3-day UK based programme, industry experts will share practical tips and advice, while taking our students through a range of activities to develop skills in entrepreneurship, reasoning, critical thinking, storytelling and design thinking. Working in teams throughout, they will have the opportunity to create and develop a campaign for a new product, which they will present to our experts and guest judges.

ORT JUMP year 12 international employability skills challenge

Year 12 students travel to a country within the ORT network, for an ‘Apprentice’ style employability skills challenge. Our participants join international students from the network as part of an immersive experience; learning and developing new skills with industry experts, including entrepreneurship, critical thinking, market research and design thinking. Working in teams, they will create a solution to real-life barriers that currently exist in a defined sector and present in front of a live judging panel.
