The ORT JUMP Alternative Work Experience Week

The ORT JUMP Alternative Work Experience Week is for Year 12 students who would like to develop key employability skills to help empower them in their future career.

The 2026 programme took place in London from Monday 20th – Friday 24th July 2026 in a professional office setting.

Students began the week by visiting an assigned workplace in small groups, where they were set a team challenge to complete, guided by industry experts.

They then reconvened with the whole cohort in one central location. Over the course of the week, further work-related challenges were set, along with training sessions and guided discussions.

Vital employability skills covered included teamwork, researching, IT, networking, creative thinking, negotiating, presenting and many more!
