You can expect to work with professionals, developing an understanding of this organisation and there will be opportunities for you to contribute your ideas/thoughts on various aspects of their work. In addition, you will gain knowledge and understanding of the present or possible future challenges and encouraged to contribute to how this may be addressed by the organisation in the future.

Pharmacy (East Finchley)
You can expect to work with pharmacist and other members of the team while serving the public.  In addition, there will be opportunities to investigate how pharmaceutical medication can treat, cure, prevent, diagnose or promote well-being.

Primary School (Borehamwood)
You can expect to work with teaching staff as well as the SEN and support staff to meet the needs of the children and their families.  In addition, there will be opportunities to research the maths and reading schemes used in the school, identifying how to address the benefits or gaps in this provision.

Non-For-Profit or Social Enterprise (Epping Forest)
This is an office-based role working for a foodbank and you will be working with professionals to prepare and organise a summer scheme project.  There will be opportunities to contribute your thoughts and ideas while working with staff to ensure the smooth delivery of food and essentials for clients of this organisation.

Non-For-Profit or Social Enterprise (Epping Forest)
This is an active role working within a team of professionals and you will be supporting them to sort, organise and prepare food parcels to meet the requirements of children who need support during their summer school break.  There will be opportunities for understanding the needs of clients as well as professional discussions on how this organisation makes a difference to their communities.

Law
(Fenchurch Street, London)
This placement is with a top 40 UK law firm, with more than 1,400 people working from offices in Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Newcastle. They are a law firm with a long and proud heritage. Founded in 1827, they have grown to become a progressive firm, that are committed to their clients and their people, as well as constantly looking at ways of improving the service provided. As a socially and environmentally conscious company, they consider corporate social responsibility and environmental responsibility as very important and are proud to have a thriving programme in each of these areas. This firm also recognise the importance of their people enjoying what they do, providing a friendly and inspiring working environment across all offices. Their London office, which is the second largest, is located on Fenchurch Street, in London’s historic business district. There are over 150 people based at this office, operating across the UK and internationally and offering a complete range of legal services to businesses and individuals.

Private Bank (Canary Wharf, London)
This is an office-based role for one of the world’s largest Private Banks, based in Canary Wharf. This will be a role where you will get to meet with the people that help to run a Private Bank – from those who look after people’s money, to those in operations who ensure that all the systems work effectively. There will be the opportunity to meet other people across the bank, one of the UK’s largest businesses.

Graphic Design, Film/Media and Production Content (Soho, London)
If you are studying Graphic Design or Film and Media at A-Level and love creating your own designs or Tik Tok content then perhaps this is the work experience you should be considering! An interest in this field is vital as well as a basic knowledge of Adobe Creative or editing software. Creativity is a big part of this role.  You would be working with professionals to get an insight into how a visual campaign is created from idea, to pitching ideas and creating design. You will be tasked with creating your own designs, short films and social media content.

Marketing Communication and Social Media (Soho, London)
If you are interested in a career in marketing or communications then this is the work experience you should be considering.

An interest in this field is vital with creativity being a big part of this role. You would be working with professionals to get an insight into how a marketing campaign is created from pitching ideas to creating content. With our team’s support, you will be tasked with creating your own ideas, written content or short films and social media content.

Estate Agents (Maida Vale and St John’s Wood)
You can expect to be working between the offices in the Maida Vale and St John’s Wood areas, allowing you to develop an understanding of the range of different client demographics in these areas.  You will be working with professionals who will support your understanding of the industry and also how to meet their clients’ needs.

You can expect to be working with the Fundraising Officer to develop campaigns for this organisation.  You will be working in a busy office and there will be opportunities for you to contribute to different projects while sharing your thoughts and ideas on different designs or concepts to enable meeting the needs of the organisation.  You will also gain an understanding of a variety of present and future campaigns as well as how this will benefit the organisation in the future.

Recruitment (Borehamwood)
If you enjoy scrolling through profiles on social media, this may be the job for you as there will be opportunities to research potential candidates using LinkedIn.   You will be using this social networking platform to investigate a range of professionals while working with staff to research particular roles and recruitment searches.  There may be opportunities for hybrid working with this placement (a mix of office and working from home) so you require being focused and engaged when working independently to ensure completing the work required.

Digital Designer of a Media Group (Bankside)
You can expect to use Adobe, photoshop and illustrator to crop and prepare imagery/videos to be used for online ads.  In addition, using Figma (an online designing tool) will support you when producing creative storyboards and brand guidelines.

Ad Operations for a Media Group (Bankside)
You can expect to build ads in their platform using pre-prepared assets grom the designer to be fit for campaigns across display, video and social advertising.  In addition, you will use Microsoft excel to review reports, using pivot tables and formulas to ensure campaigns are running correctly (campaign health checks) as outlined in the media plan and decisioning matrix (document which outlines which creative is being served against each audience segment).

Analytics for a Media Group (Bankside)
You can expect to create PowerPoint reports to review the performance of the campaign as well as use data metrics such as impressions, clicks and conversations to assess which creative is performing the best against each audience segment.  In addition, there will be opportunities for using these reports to recommend optimisations we can make for a client campaign.

Law (Soho, London)
You can expect to experience hybrid working on this placement as there will be a mix of office and home working. There will be opportunities to investigate the law while researching a piece of legislation to find particular information.  You will require to be focused and engaged when working independently at home as this will ensure completing the investigation or research required – as most workplaces can offer this type of working, this will be good training for this type of employment.
