ORT JUMP Year 10 Employability Challenge

31.07.23 ORT JUMP

ORT JUMP delivered an employability programme to two groups of Year 10 students, one from Yavneh College and the other from JCOSS, in the final week of the summer term.

They were tasked with creating competing campaigns for the plant-based company OGGS.  During the 3-day programme, professionals from OGGS shared practical tips and advice, while taking our students through a range of activities to develop skills in entrepreneurship, reasoning, critical thinking, storytelling and design thinking.

These students had the opportunity to create and develop a campaign for a new Kosher whole egg alternative, with each team pitching their campaign to industry experts and the ORT Chair of Trustees, Annette Kurer.

The judging panel were extremely impressed by the participants with one sharing, “I really was blown away by the work the children managed to create in such a short amount of time”.

Well done to these incredible students who were particularly creative and innovative, with both teams developing ideas that OGGS will consider using in future campaigns.
