Over 400 Year 12 mentees, mentors, parents and teachers attended the ORT JUMP Mentoring Programme Graduation on Thursday evening in Camden. The annual event was a celebration of the Year 12 students who completed the programme.

This year’s guest speaker was Clive Gringras, Head of Technology, Media & Telecoms at the international law firm, CMS UK. Clive shared his non-linear career journey and discussed how his own mentors had been instrumental when making career decisions. He also delved into his fascinating specialist subject – the future of AI in the workplace. He assured the students that if they used human ‘emotional intelligence’ in a world of artificial intelligence, they will succeed.

We also heard from mentors Georgia Shaw and Gabriella Jessup, who spoke about how they originally signing up as ORT JUMP mentees while at school and why they felt it was important to become ORT JUMP mentors to support the next generation.

New graduates Sophie Hartog and Eytan Freeman reflected on their mentee experience and how much it had benefitted them.

A ‘Commitment to Long-term Mentoring Award’ was given to three mentors who had mentored with ORT JUMP for its 15 year duration – Ryan Rogowski, Mark Summerfield and Carolyn Webber.

During the programme, students were asked to submit a creative piece about their experience of being mentored. The winners were announced and given prizes. Congratulations to:
