The ORT JUMP 3-Day Employability Skills Challenge took place last week with two teams of incredible students from Yavneh College.
Brand expert and founder of Providence Deli, Adam Bass, with digital marketing pro, Jo Blankleder Singer, set the Year 10s the task of designing a social media campaign for Providence Deli’s new spicy humous.
The students conducted market research in local supermarkets, held taste testing in their schools, learned how to market their products on different platforms and even had a masterclass in public speaking from professional presentation coach, Merrill Powell.
Both teams blew the panel of judges away with their highly professional, engaging and knowledgeable final presentations, demonstrating impressive team work and newly-learned marketing skills.
Thank you to Adam, Jo and Merrill for volunteering your time to help us empower the next generation!
