ORT UK’s Professional Women’s Network held another fantastic panel event, where four fabulous women offered advice on how to ‘Make a Success of your Career Pathway.’

Annette Kurer (Global Leadership Consultant, Ark Consultants) chaired the discussion,  as Anne Shooter (Head of Commercial Partnerships, Mail Metro Media) Mandy Isaacs (Family Liaison Officer, Camp Simcha) and Frances Orchover (Family Barrister and Judge, 1GC) shared their very different career journeys.

Between them, the women have experience of climbing the ranks in a wide range of careers. From journalism, catering and teaching to charity work and law, the panel emphasised that success in the workplace can stem from utilising transferable skills and being open to new opportunities. Tenacity is the key.

The evening concluded with questions from the floor on topics including staying motivated, balancing work with training and maintaining relationships with contacts.
