ORT UK Welcomes Three New Trustees

03.12.19

ORT UK is thrilled to welcome Annette Kurer, Cassy Martell and Lee Petar to the Board of Trustees.

Annette is the owner of Ark Consultants – a consultancy, coaching and training company:

“ORT’s core work to educate disadvantaged students, empowering them to be independent and self-reliant as they reach adulthood – very much aligns with my core values and work ethic. . I have enjoyed delivering workshops to Jump mentors and mentees, ensuring that the next generation have the right knowledge and support to make healthy career choices. I have also supported ORT’s PWN meetings providing Jewish businesswomen with the opportunity to be inspired, learn and network with like-minded people. As a new trustee I am passionate about creating greater awareness of how ORT supports less fortunate students from around the world as well as helping individuals develop careers, so they become self-reliant individuals.”

Cassy is the Senior Major Gifts Manager at the Royal Academy of Arts:

“ORT’s mission to provide education, skills and resilience resonates deeply. If we can empower people, we can quite literally transform the future. It is a huge privilege to begin my journey here and at such a profound moment; taking ORT UK forward into its centenary and World ORT into its 140th anniversary. ORT has successfully transformed many futures and it is our shared responsibility to ensure it continues to do so. I look forward to driving this mission forward.”

Lee is a Managing Partner at Oakhill Communications:

“I am delighted to be joining the board of ORT UK. The work it does in helping to change the lives of children around the world is truly transformative and I am thrilled to be able to play a small role in helping to ensure that that work continues to be recognised.”
