LBC’s Nick Ferrari spoke about his recent trip to Israel with ORT UK at the Annual Dinner 2019.

It was the first time the broadcaster and journalist had journeyed to the Holy Land and he spoke about the spirituality of Jerusalem as well as the huge impact that ORT is having on students at World ORT Kadima Mada’s Kfar Silver Youth Village.

Over 270 guests enjoyed a reception, where they had a chance to chat to and have pictures taken with Mr Ferrari. This was followed by a three course meal interspersed with speeches from Nick Ferrari, the Israeli Ambassador Mark Regev, the Director-General of the Negev and Galilee Development Ministry Ariel Mishal, ORT UK Chairman Simon Alberga and ORT UK CEO Dan Rickman.

Also speaking at the dinner were sixth-form students Poppy Taylor and Nicole Nissan – ORT UK’s first ever representatives at ORT’s Digital Skills Academy in Bulgaria.  The girls shared their incredible experiences learning about digital media production with ORT students from across the globe.
