ORT JUMP Graduation 2019

10.07.19

Congratulations to all our ORT JUMP graduates 2019! We loved celebrating with our committed mentees and our wonderful volunteer mentors plus parents and teachers!

This year’s ORT JUMP graduation at JW3 was a fabulous event, marking the end of our 10th year matching Year 12 students to professionals in their chosen industry, for career guidance.

Guest speakers, CanO Water entrepreneurs Josh White and Ariel Booker, in conversation with Annette Kurer (Ark Consultants) shared the story of their growing business, from conception to huge sales at Selfridges! Their honesty and infectious drive and ambition, made for an inspiring and thought-provoking discussion.

We also heard from Immanuel College Head Boy Avi Miller, who spoke to the audience about his experience on the programme and Vikki Bentwood, Head of Marketing and Business Development at Hamlins LLP, who talked about the benefits of being a mentor and the challenges facing students today.

Prizes were awarded to five students – our overall winner Gabriella Ziff and runners up Elisabeth Sutton, Jay Rosenthal, Alyssa Jacobs and Dov Solomon – who submitted impressive essays on the ORT JUMP programme. The gradation culminated in welcoming every mentee to the stage to receive a certificate.

We wish all of our students the best of luck for the future and look forward to welcoming our mentors back for the 2020 intake!
