ORT UK is delighted to announce the appointment of Dan Rickman as the new Chief Executive Officer.

Dan joins us from Mitzvah Day where he is currently the Executive Director. Prior to this, he was Head of Fundraising at Magen David Adom UK and has several years’ experience within the Jewish charity sector.

“I am honoured, excited and hugely privileged,” says Dan, who hopes to bring “new energy, creativity and innovation to one of British Jewry’s most established charities.”

“I was blown away by ORT’s incredible work across the world; making an impact through education, which is transforming so many lives. A fundamental part of my Jewish identity is the responsibility to give back and improve the world and ORT’s work is a shining example of how to do that in a successful and meaningful way.”

ORT UK’s Chairman, Simon Alberga is thrilled to welcome Dan to the ORT UK team. “His experience with Mitzvah Day and other Jewish communal organisations will be invaluable as he embarks on his new position and I am confident he will successfully lead our continued growth and development.”

Dan will join the ORT UK team in January 2019.
