Freddie Ljungberg

Freddie is a Swedish former professional footballer and manager, best known for playing as a winger for Arsenal from 1998-2007. He has also been an assistant coach and interim head coach for the team.

He began his career at Halmstad before being signed by Arsenal, where he won two Premier League titles and three FA Cups, scoring in two finals including the victory in 2002.

After leaving Arsenal, he had short spells at a number of clubs in England, Scotland, the United States, Japan and India. An international for a full decade, Ljungberg represented Sweden’s national team at the UEFA Euros and FIFA World Cups. He was captain of Sweden from 2006 until he announced his international retirement after UEFA Euro 2008.

Ljungberg is also known for modelling for a number of well-known brands including Calvin Klein.

David Ornstein

David is football correspondent for the hugely popular sports website, The Athletic, specialising in news and insight across written, audio and video output. He also features on NBC as their Premier League Insider and contributes to Sky Sports, FIVE on YouTube and others.

He joined The Athletic in October 2019, after 12 years at the BBC, where he transitioned from being a writer on the BBC Sport website to a correspondent for BBC Sports News.

Prior to joining the BBC, he completed a year-long sports traineeship at The Guardian and, in between, freelanced for publications including the Evening Standard and Sunday Telegraph.

Daniel Geey

Daniel is a Partner in the Sports Group at Sheridans, where he works with clubs, players and agents, advising on takeovers, transfers, contract negotiations, endorsement deals, reputation management, disciplinary, broadcasting and dispute issues.

He is also author of football industry book Done Deal and his latest career book, Build the Invisible.

Daniel is a public speaker and provides comment for a range of media outlets including BBC, ITV, Sky Sports, BT Sport, CNN and Bloomberg.

He has a footballing podcast series called The Dan and Omar Show with Omar Chaudhuri as well as a career and self-development podcast series called Build the Invisible.

Away from football, Daniel has a fashion brand called ((Thirteen.)) which raises money for cancer research.

Georgie Hodge

Georgie is the Head of Women’s Football at top football agency CAA Base and is a FIFA Licensed agent.

In 2015, having identified a gap in the market for representation of female football players, Georgie approached CAA Base and proposed that she head up a new department and has never looked back.

Georgie is now one of the most influential figures in women’s football, representing high profile, elite players. Having previously played football herself, she also has first-hand experience of the game.

Prior to joining the agency, Georgie was the Acquisition and Athletes Manager at Sportlobster and an Account and Campaign Manager at Barclays.
