Abbie Williams
GSK Apprentice
Abbie is a laboratory apprentice at Glaxo SmithKline. She came to GSK after her A-Levels in 2017. After applying for apprenticeships and university she was unsure of which path she wanted to take. Since 2017 Abbie has worked within Genetic Toxicology as an apprentice studying towards her Applied Bioscience degree and has recently been offered a permanent position to stay at GSK once her studies end and plans to continue her career with GSK.
Jordan Reuben
Jordan left school following first year of A-levels to take up a BTEC alongside a side job in property. During his studies he applied for various roles which came with very little success. He started to make direct contact with principles of large development and private equity companies as he needed to approach companies using his own tenacity. Jordan did not have a degree nor any substantial A-levels and therefore it was up to him to think outside of the box. He wasoffered a 2-week unpaid trial during which time he had to prove his abilities. Here he was offered a full-time role and went on to manage and scale-up the development division. He has since taken a senior position with a finance company to set up an internal property development division investing the companies capital into development.
