ORT UK's Ladies Fashion Show with Jessimara

This October, ORT UK hosted a Ladies Fashion Show with London’s leading independent womenswear boutique Jessimara. The sold-out event raised over £21,000 where more than 200 guests were treated to a fun-filled evening of comedy and a stunning catwalk of glamour and high fashion with designer clothes, shoes and accessories courtesy of Jessimara, Larizia and Lola Rose.

Engaging new Supporters

This Spring, ORT UK launched two exciting new events focussed on engaging new supporters. The first took place at the Knightsbridge branch of luxury shoe retailer, Jimmy Choo, where over 70 women (and a couple of men) enjoyed an unprecedented opportunity to shop at their Preview Sale.

Equal opportunities for Israelis in the Periphery

World ORT is seeking to establish a network of 25 “boutique” high schools excelling in science and technology studies in the Negev, Galilee and elsewhere in the periphery, the goal being to reduce socioeconomic gaps in the country.
Avi Ganon, CEO of World ORT Kadima Mada, said that Israelis living outside the country’s centre were educationally disadvantaged and better schools in such regions were critical to reducing inequalities.

Adam Overlander-Kaye joins ORT UK as new Chief Executive

ORT UK is delighted to announce the appointment of Adam Overlander-Kaye as its new Chief Executive.  Adam succeeds Dan Green, who was promoted recently to the role of Chief Operating Officer of World ORT.
Adam joins the organisation from Reform Judaism, where he has been Director of Fundraising for the last six years. Adam is also a governor of Akiva Primary School in Finchley and a regular presenter and educator at Limmud.
