ORT JUMP mentoring programme
Our flagship domestic project – a mentoring programme for students in their first year of sixth form (Year 12), designed to help bridge the gap between school and the workplace. Mentors from a wide range of industries, meet with their mentees five times over the academic year. Many of our students find work experience and acceptance onto corporate schemes through the programme.
Bar/bat mitzvah twinning programme
Our new Bar/Bat Mitzvah twinning programme sees young people from Muswell Hill United Synagogue twinned with their peers in Vilnius and Kiev. The programme encourages a commitment to the global Jewish community, as well as enabling participants to connect with their Jewish identity. Families are also encouraged to explore their own history.
The Professional Women’s Network brings together women from different professional backgrounds and provides a space for networking. We also provide opportunities to hear guest speakers, with past subjects including, ‘What the World of Business can Learn from Religion’ and ‘Breaking the Glass Ceiling – Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace.’
